THE ESTATE

Eden Hall is a Georgian Regency style house dating back to around 1761. It has been lovingly restored maintaining its character and many of the original features. This historic home is idyllically positioned within private woodland grounds 20 minutes north of Kilkenny city. Within the 12 acres of woodland you’ll find a picturesque Yew Tree Walk, an Orchard filled with heritage fruit trees, a working vegetable plot, hens and historic outbuildings and beautiful gardens.

The estate is more than a setting for what we do. It is part of the story.

The gardens, orchard, buildings and surrounding land provide an ever-changing source of inspiration. From the fruit that becomes a pie to the greenery gathered for a wreath, and the everyday rhythm of caring for animals and soil.

We believe that looking after a place is one of the greatest privileges of having it. So much of what happens here begins with that simple idea to live well, care deeply and leave the land better than we found it.

There is something wonderfully restorative about gathering around a table, learning a new skill and spending time with good people.

Throughout the year, we open the estate for a collection of intimate workshops and experience days inspired by the seasons and our surroundings.

Learn the basics of keeping hens. Create a beautiful seasonal wreath. Make an apple pie using apples gathered from our heritage orchard.

These are days for getting your hands busy, slowing down and enjoying the simple pleasure of making, learning and sharing.
